Adrien Joseph Ouellet, 88, of Nashua, beloved husband and best friend of Monique (Beaulieu) Ouellet for 58 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on September 15, 2016.

The son of Adelard and Eva (Santerre) Ouellet, Adrien was born in St. Hubert Countie de Riviere-du-Loup, P.Q. Canada on March 22, 1928. He was predeceased by his sister Yvette Desormiers, Lilianne Laporte of Montreal, P.Q. Canada and Anita Dube of Nashua. He was also predeceased by his brothers Roland and Romeo of St. Hubert; Leopold, of Montreal, P.Q. Canada, and Omer of Hudson, NH

The fourth in a family of sixteen, Adrien took the responsibility for his family after the death of his father. To do so, Adrien took care of the family farm while lumber-jacking in the Canadian woods. He and Monique immigrated to Nashua on April 6, 1962 where he worked as a finished carpenter for several construction companies. Adrien took pride in the many windows and doors he hung in various buildings in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

To Adrien, his family was his pride and joy. He was most happy when his family was all together. In addition to his wife Monique, Adrien is survived by his son, Gervais, of Nashua, and his Fiancé Sheryl Kenney; his daughters Renelle (Kevin) Stone of Nashua and Rachelle (Marc) Boisvert of Berwick, ME; his grandchildren, Meghan, Ethan, Ashleigh, Sonya, Valerie, Sara, and Rebecca; as well as several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and close friends who supported him along his life's journey.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Michelle, Patty, and the entire staff of Home Health and Hospice. Although they were only with Adrien for a short time, their dedication and effort to provide quality care for him was a heartwarming blessing to the entire family.

Calling hours will take place on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St. Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Louis de Gonzague, 48 W. Hollis St. Nashua. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.
