Catherine Mary (Smith) Fitzpatrick, age 51 died on March 31, 2015 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Cathy is survived by her lifetime partner Meghan Welter; her two daughters Meghan and Annie; her two sons Nick and Kenny Welter, and her faithful dog Ella. She is survived by her mother Mary Lou Liucci-Smith of Scarborough, ME; her father Charles Smith of Chicopee, MA; her three brothers and their wives Charlie and Vicki of Thousand Oaks, CA, Dan and Cinthia of Temecula, CA, and Bill and Sara of Westbrook ME. and many nieces...

Catherine Mary (Smith) Fitzpatrick, age 51 died on March 31, 2015 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Cathy is survived by her lifetime partner Meghan Welter; her two daughters Meghan and Annie; her two sons Nick and Kenny Welter, and her faithful dog Ella. She is survived by her mother Mary Lou Liucci-Smith of Scarborough, ME; her father Charles Smith of Chicopee, MA; her three brothers and their wives Charlie and Vicki of Thousand Oaks, CA, Dan and Cinthia of Temecula, CA, and Bill and Sara of Westbrook ME. and many nieces and nephews she loved as her own. Cathy was predeceased by her bright-eyed and compassionate daughter Molly Elizabeth on December 23, 2002 at the age of ten.

Cathy was born on March 2, 1964 in Northampton, MA. She graduated from Scarborough (ME) High School in 1982. She graduated from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in 1982 with a BS in Nursing. In 2011, she received her MA in Counseling from Springfield College. She was presently working as a dedicated and loving school nurse at Central High School in Manchester, NH.

Cathy was a loving mother, partner, daughter, godmother, sister and aunt to her family. She was a trusted and loyal friend to all who were blessed to be in her life. Cathy felt at home with nature and long walks with Ella in the woods, either alone or with Meg, Meghan and Annie. There were no bounds to her creativity which she shared during her many years as a Girl Scout leader, running her dream store Inquire Within and daily adventures with her family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. Interment will take place on Friday, April 3rd at 9:00am in the Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St., Nashua.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at SNH Medical Center for their gentle and loving care of Cathy, her family and friends.
